We are looking for a creative, self-directed individual who can translate empowering themes, therapeutic insights, and publishing highlights into scroll-stopping content across Instagram, LinkedIn, website platforms, and subscriber channels.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Content Creation: Design engaging social media graphics, carousels, and visual assets using Canva that reflect brand aesthetics across all three entities.
Website & Resource Updates: Assist with website content maintenance, resource additions, and landing page updates on Squarespace.
Social Media & Messaging: Draft and schedule compelling post copy, reels/video snippets, and announcements for book events, private practice highlights, and author platform growth.
Listserv & Directory Research: Perform routine periodic research (alumni/professional networks, LinkedIn, social channels) to track outreach opportunities and verify listed resources.
Analytics & Content Strategy: Track engagement metrics to see what content resonates best with readers, clients, and professional communities, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Experience: Direct experience or high comfort with Canva (design/graphics) and Squarespace(website updates - three websites).
Communication & Self-Direction: Exceptional written communication, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to keeping project milestones on track independently.
Brand & Visual Eye: Ability to maintain a consistent, professional, and empathetic brand voice tailored to mental health, recovery, and independent publishing.
Organization: Comfort balancing multiple multi-step tasks within a flexible, low-hour weekly workflow.
Position Details
Location: Remote / Flexible
Compensation: $15 / hour (contracted - 1099)
Hours: 5 hours per week
